Discipleship
Discipleship is a BIG deal here at Hope Chapel OC. Discipleship is the process which one (the disciple –ee) becomes more like the person who is doing the discipling (disciple-er). We however, don’t want you to become more like the pastor or the elders, our discipleship is focused on you becoming (living in word, deed and thought) like Jesus Christ.
We are intentional about it in several ways. We consider our two main functions per week, Sunday morning and Thursday nights to be discipleship and not just a good teaching or a get together. If you want to go deeper than that, the opportunity to become a part of one of the service teams will lead you into a deeper discipleship with those around you and the leader of that team. The next level is to actually join a small discipleship group or ask someone to disciple you. (Scary huh?)
In the spring of next year, we will be rolling out a dynamic discipleship class that will catapult you to the higher levels of living and being than ever before. Watch for upcoming details!
